Company Auditions

Company Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026. Our Company is a performance company, not a competition company. DC Dancers do not have to be company members to compete in dance competitions.

Dancers, please arrive with your hair in a bun and ready to have headshots taken before the audition begins. Please bring Pointe Shoes and Ballet Shoes.

Our goal at DC is to provide students who want to dance an opportunity with an authentic dance company experience. We love to provide performance opportunities and experience to our dancers. We believe that this prepares our dancers with not only important tools for dance but also for life.

Dancers who audition must have a minimum of two years of Pointe training OR have received a personal invitation from a faculty member at Dance Contempra.

Lead Roles for the Winter show will also be assigned during this audition. OUR COMPANY DANCERS PERFORM ALL LEAD ROLES.  

Our Company Dancers are given multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year in community performances, winter show, spring show, and various dance festivals.
