Dance keeps the brain sharp, the body steady, and the spirit curious. If you danced when you were younger and have been itching to try it again, these classes are made for you.
Why return to dance now?
Brain health: Learning steps and sequences strengthens memory, attention, and executive function—key for healthy aging.
Balance and coordination: Regular dance practice improves proprioception and reduces fall risk by training stability, spatial awareness, and reflexes.
Mobility and strength: Gentle, progressive movement increases joint range, muscle tone, and functional fitness for everyday activities.
Emotional well‑being: Music and movement reduce stress, lift mood, and rebuild confidence in a supportive group setting.
Social connection: Classes offer chances to meet others, rebuild community, and enjoy shared accomplishment.
What to expect in these classes
Beginner‑friendly pacing: No pressure—steps are taught clearly and repeated until comfortable.
Accessible progressions: Movements are adapted so everyone can work at their own level and challenge themselves safely.
Musical variety: Styles range from classic rhythms to contemporary grooves, keeping learning engaging.
